Panic Mode! We get it, we think nothing will happen to us, or don't know the consequences when something does. So can you protect your health with a pre-existing condition? Yes, you can! It is important to remember though, that health insurance will not cover pre-existing conditions, and generally related conditions and will only cover new, unrelated conditions. Make sure you speak to us to understand how this will work for you. Unfortunately, countless medical conditions could happen to us at any given time, so even if you do have a pre-existing condition, you may want to think about if another medical condition were to happen again. If you don't have a pre-existing condition though, don't leave it too late and go into panic mode. Make sure you are protected before it happens!

My paper with Prof. Kevin Croke was the most read article of 2023! It's really heartening to see so much interest in the topic of #politicalanalysis and #politics of health reforms. Hope to contribute much more to this area in the coming years. #healthsystems #healthpolicy #policyresearch
Before we dive into the exciting new issues of 2024, let's revisit 2023's most read article of issue 1- an insightful analysis of how PMJAY, a hospitalization insurance health program, gained unprecedented attention on India’s public and institutional agendas. Authored by Anuska Kalita and Kevin Croke, this piece is highly valuable for those interested in India’s health policy and in the broader question of how to bring health and other issues onto the public agenda successfully. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of 2023's most influential articles! Read it here: https://bit.ly/47xZn6G

The best time to plan for the unexpected is when you’re healthy. Why? Because if you become ill, your options are more limited. Having a serious illness can become pricey. You’ll likely face expenses not covered by your provincial health insurance or employer health benefits. So, if you become seriously ill, having critical illness insurance can help pay these and other expenses. I can work with you to help you understand your options and apply for insurance.
