I switched from ConvertKit to Beehive because I crossed the 1000 subscriber mark and can no longer work on their free plan. Good problem to have. I'm not complaining but at the same time this might be a rant. I guess we'll never know... Anyways, grateful for the fact that you folks support and read my stuff every week. That keeps me going. It's anything but sexy as compared to the overnight successes that social media makes you believe in. But honestly? I have a ton of fun writing my newsletter so I don't really regret the slow growth. It's really strange that my average open rates have dropped by almost 5% since I joined Beehive. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I usually average 30-35% open rates easily. If you told me 2 years ago that I’d build a product used by over 500 people globally, I’d have laughed 😂 Yet here I am, celebrating a small milestone of Clipboard Archive – my little Chrome extension – just crossed 500+ Active users. 🎉 The crazy part? Being a marketer myself I haven’t promoted it anywhere on LinkedIn, not even a mention in my bio. No ads, no fancy launch campaigns, no landing pages. So how did this happen? People search for solutions on the Chrome Store, and voilà! There’s my little extension waving back at them. 👋 There was a tiny bit of Quora marketing at the beginning, but that’s it – no full-blown GTM strategy. It’s been completely organic. People found it, used it, and stuck with it. And that, to me, feels amazing 🍀 What’s even more satisfying is seeing how something I built is solving real problems without any bells and whistles. Just pure word-of-mouth 💚 What’s next?
