Mass Tort & Product Liability Lawyer | Fighting for Justice for Victims of Dangerous Drugs and Defective Products
BREAKING Talc Powder Verdict! Another disappointing result after a Florida Jury concluded yesterday that Johnson & Johnson's baby powder did not cause the ovarian cancer of Patricia Matthey who passed away in 2019. Momentum has swung back in favor of J&J in this litigation, which according to reports, is still considering filing a third bankruptcy. J&J is attempting to muster the support of more Plaintiffs to gain bankruptcy approval related to the ovarian cancer cases but has settlement some mesothelioma cases. One interesting development is that in the MDL we are seeing the highest level of filings of new lawsuits over the past week. This leads me to believe that a settlement could be in the works, but with every defense verdict J&J's position gets stronger. If you have cases, I would recommend filing them now. I know some firms are still acquiring new cases, but with a very high cost of acquisition and a high attrition rate, I believe your efforts could be best focused on other Mass Torts. #joedoeslaw #masstorts #talc
