Safety first. It is not a slogan, it shall be a habit. This unsafe / unacceptable balancing job, from safety point of view, shall be stopped. Such balancing job is beyond the standard practice. Balancing, either low or high speed balancing, shall be done in a canopy of a banker to avoid injury in case of blade or any other parts fly off. It can kill any worker, immediately , if he exists in the line of fire. So I would suggest to review carefully your safety in place and the video before sharing. When I saw this video I suspected it was a learning video for an accident, I paryed it will not, and the guys walk around will be safe. I saw many folks sharing videos containing a disaster from safety point of view, some without proper PPE, some without proper log out / tag out , some without proper safety barriers like this video, etc … My advice to all young engineers. Do not rush to share videos in a professional platform like LinkedIn without a proper review.
