There ar some sobering points in this report but it's thrilling to note the numerous opportunities the future presents. Dynamism and excitement await internal auditing. It’s great to be in Washington, D.C., for the release of the IIA's Internal Audit Vision 2035. This new vision is set to transform our profession, and I'm excited to be part of it. **Key Highlights:** 🔍 Innovation and Technology: Embracing AI and data analytics to add more value. As data volumes explode, the ability to harness and interpret vast amounts of information will become a pivotal skill for auditors. 📈 Skill Enhancement: Continuous learning to stay adaptable and agile. The research highlighted the need for experienced auditors to upskill to remain relevant. Cybersecurity and ESG tops the list of areas expected to expand in future audit scopes. It was disappointing to see that through the updated Vision and Global Standards the CIA is still being pushed as the “gold standard” audit qualification, without consideration for SMEs in these areas or CAEs that don’t come through the “career auditor” ranks. Seems to be a bit of a disconnect here! 🌐 Strategic Foresight and Remaining Agile: Anticipating and responding to new risks and opportunities. Incorporating organizational strategy into audit services fundamental for adding value - added shift from predominatly an assurance focus to an improved balance with advisory work. Internal audit needs to remain a vital, forward-thinking component of the organization’s risk management strategy. Not a backwards looking compliance officer. Exciting times ahead!!

🛩️ Tested the #VisionPro for myself on an airplane - no issues The headset detected I was in motion immediately after wearing it and suggested turning on travel mode. This is on version 1.0.2. I watched a movie, played a game (Battleship!), and tested a few other apps. I suspect the videos out there proclaiming issues might be due to travel mode not being on or an earlier version of VisionOS. Note, I haven't yet tested it in a vehicle (which I will do - as a passenger - at some point 😄) nor did I experience any turbulence during the flight. Has anyone else tested the Vision Pro during travel? #SpatialComputing #AugmentedReality #VirtualReality

I believe the Vision Pro will change everything in terms of interaction. In particular, AI as the underlying application will be perfectly integrated with VP.
