This is what youth empowerment and ownership looks (and sounds and feels) like! Besides the benefits from immersing students in authentic design, development, and project-based learning activities, opportunities to move from passive consumption mode to active producer roles is the way to genuinely engage and level up students with technology, responsibly. Pre thru post: kids need to get in the sandbox and learn by doing, making, experimenting, and reflecting.
