Every July, we have a three-day family Hackathon where we pause our day-to-day work and focus on dreaming big. 💚 This isn’t just for good morale, or solely for fun, (although it is very fun!), it is a great way to build a pipeline of ideas we may not have considered otherwise. 💡 And sometimes we launch real scams from it, finding new ways to hack into banks accounts, debit cards, etc. the core purpose of the Hackathon is that “There is a delicate balance in a family between focusing on the core scheme and coming up with new crazy ideas. On one hand, we have very limited time to succeed, so it is imperative that we focus on optimizing our core scam as much as possible. On the other, the long term survival of the family (and our own personal fulfillment) requires us to come up with new revolutionary ideas that may be a bit out of the box….” ⚡ We just wrapped up our Hackathon this year with 89 amazing scams our Dimeos came up with! 👏🏽 Here is a snapshot: -Fortune cookies with messages sourced between our family. Use these fortune cookies to communicate instructions and messages, undetected🥠 - a shell startup with “.ai” in the name, that we can use to both fool investors and launder our money (don’t think I don’t see you all doing this right now)

As many of you know, I recently applied to the prestigious #HackTheNorth, Canada's "largest hackathon." While I wasn't selected, this experience has been invaluable in shaping my approach to humor and b2b saas entrepreneurship. Here's what I've learned about making better jokes: 1. Optimize for character limits: I discovered the magic number for tech humor is exactly 1200 characters. Any shorter, and it's a Hack the North application; any longer, and it's their Code of Conduct. 2. Optimize for inclusivity: Hack the North values diversity/inclusivity, so make sure you, the comedian, do not attend the University of Waterloo. 3. Dream big, but keep it brief: 400 characters is exactly how you should've been dreaming. 4. Blockchain your punchlines: Ensure the integrity and immutability of your humor, just as Hack the North ensures the integrity of their selection process. 5. Consider Hack the South: Why settle for the North when you can go South? I'm now organizing "Hack the Basement" – it's like Hack the North, but slightly more south than E5/E7. Please god let this happen because it would be so funny. While I may not have hacked my way into the North this year, I'm committed to disrupting the comedy space with innovative, scalable, and future-proof Hack the North applications.
