When I was leading a Marketing team, there were two things I have prioritized: - I created a Marketing briefing document outlining the process of delivering specific projects from concept to execution. This document provides new hires with a comprehensive checklist and guidance throughout their first few months in the role. - Proper briefing and orientation were essential. I explained how team dynamics function, provided an overview of the company, introduced all team members while highlighting the importance of each member's role, and more. Following this, I sent out a separate onboarding email summarizing the discussed points. This approach has consistently been effective in building trust and ensuring that new employees gain a realistic overview of the department they are joining.

When I was a kid, it was awesome to get a big box of crayons. These crayons gave me the power to express myself and make my imagination come out on paper. Yes, the world has changed, and yes kids are growing up in a digital world, but this doesn't have to be something bad. Digital art and other software have opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities. Instead of being limited by abilities these tools not only enable kids to create but also give them an opportunity to experiment and learn. Furthermore, the internet can help to generate inspiration and ideas. The concept of creativity remains the same whether it is a box of crayons or an online digital drawing app. As tools continue to evolve, so should our imagination. It's not about the tools; it's about the creator. So, go ahead, kids, paint your dreams, sketch your visions, and color your imagination. Just like that big box of crayons did for me.
