A reminder that the INTENTIONAL use of pronouns is an act of love. - Normalize sharing your own pronouns. - Normalize asking people their pronouns. - Apologize for misgendering or assuming gender. An effective way to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion is with the use of gender pronouns through your work, communications, and interactions with employees and customers. While it may be initially awkward and unfamiliar, it’s an important practice in promoting inclusion for individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ and ensuring all people feel welcomed and included regardless of their gender identity. If you're looking for more information and tools for navigating pronouns, our thought leadership paper contains guidance around inclusive pronoun use and best practices. Happy Pride Month! 🌈 Today marks the start of a month long celebration of LGBTQ+ identities, history, and achievements. You might notice companies updating their logos with rainbow colors (PG does not have a pride logo) to show support. In this video, we explore a critical issue many LGBTQ+ job seekers face: being told they're not a "cultural fit." We discuss how this affects the LGBTQ+ community and what true inclusivity should entail. Let's make sure our support is more than just a logo change—it's a commitment to real change. Check out the video below to learn more about how we can move from symbolic support to substantial action. #PrideMonth #LGBTQ #Inclusion #Diversity #CulturalFit #Belonging #LGBTQIA2S #InclusiveCulture #InclusiveWorkplace

It’s fantastic to see so many companies posting about the start of pride month but… How many of these companies are actually supporting their LGBTQ+ staff? With everything that’s going on in the world at the minute including the homophobia and transphobia in the current UK government, is it a surprise that over a third of UK workers feel that they need to hide their sexuality at work? You might have added the rainbow flag to your branding and put out a post about it being pride month but have you… 🌈 Developed an inclusive recruitment process to encourage LGBTQ+ applicants to apply? 🌈 Provided education and training to your staff around inclusive language and the use of pronouns? 🌈 Created a fully inclusive policy around parental leave? These are just a few examples, there are so many more things that you can do to support your LGBTQ+ members of staff. Of course, pride is a time to celebrate but it’s also a time for action. The community needs real allyship and support, not just a performative post on LinkedIn. #Pride #LGBTQIA #Pride2024 #Inclusion
