A very poignant read and personal reflection Cora. Sharing your story is a powerful reminder of the impact 'getting it wrong' can have for children and young people. Congratulations on leading the PL session and writing this article. No doubt there will be more to come!

Thank you for sharing your personal story. I reiterate the same sentiments as Deb, a very poignant read, sharing how you developed yourself from your own language acquisition experiences, and a reminder to us all, we need to invest the time in getting to know our students' life experiences prior to setting foot into our schools and being as supportive as we can across all levels.
