How do you get kids to be more adventurous with their food? I get asked this question a lot. My kids have been exposed to Asian flavours since they were weaned. A mild massaman curry was one of my son Logan’s first meals! And we used to take the kids to the park with sushi picnics (note to self - a very messy idea!) They’re not perfect eaters but I’d call them pretty good, and they’re always open to trying things. So exposure is definitely important. Eating together as a family also makes a difference. Last night I made my Sesame Ramen from my book Dominique’s Kitchen. I used a fraction of the curry paste needed for their portions, and added it straight to our bowls instead.

Like tasty little gems, these boozy grapes make the perfect party hors d'oeuvre. Soak them in your favorite spirit for four hours, we personally prefer them soaked in bourbon, but if you aren't a bourbon person, no biggie. After you drain and freeze the grapes, roll them in a spicy sweet mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Are you drooling yet? Set these sugar and spiced treats in a bowl so guests can pop them in their mouths, and be sure to save the bourbon or whichever spirit you use for a cocktail later.
