People-centric entrepreneur focused on building purpose-driven organizations.

Today is my first day as CEO of CORE. This is an exciting new chapter for both me personally and the company as we execute our shared vision to bring some humanity back to GovTech. With a CORE partnership that prioritizes real human connection, our goal is to work with you to make government services easier to access for everyone.  I’m joining CORE because I believe in this company, its people, and its technology. Across the country, local governments and their agencies are losing domain knowledge to [well-earned] retirements. New government employees are hard to hire and need years to learn the operational nuances that have been preserved as institutional knowledge.  To resolve this growing knowledge transfer problem, GovTech vendors can and should be the domain knowledge backstop for local government, becoming not just vendors, but true partners in building and supporting mission-critical infrastructure. But many have succumbed to short term decision making at the expense of long term continuity. How many vendors do you have to tell not to deploy on an important tax deadline? The answer should be none. CORE is different. CORE views our government customers as partners in a shared public mission. Over the coming months, I look forward to articulating our vision, combining CORE’s industry-leading technology and deep expertise to help our partners accomplish more with less, while shaping the future of GovTech. CORE’s approach is built on the belief that high-touch client and constituent services combined with unmatched subject matter expertise will result in government services that work better for everyone. CORE’s long tenured teams form deeply consultative client relationships which ensure that data and expertise feed back into how public agencies serve their communities. CORE seeks to continue to create innovation in a space that desperately needs it. And with an average employee with more than ten years of government experience, our team members are equipped to make the quick decisions that save time and money. With this experience, CORE creates value by offering new ideas and solving new problems, not by upselling you on unnecessary “solutions”. Chris Lewis, a longtime public utility executive and former Paymentus VP of Strategic Growth, also joins CORE as Chief Operating Officer and Andy Brooks as Chief Technology Officer. Under new leadership, we are leveraging our expertise and empathetic understanding to raise the bar for the industry and will focus on personalized, high-touch relationships to address the unique needs of our public-sector clients. CORE is committed to being the public sector’s first choice for innovative and responsive GovTech solutions. We’re excited to get to work.

Sounds like exiting times for CORE! Best wishes for success.
