We’re thrilled to share that KPI Construction Services has just completed a successful 12-month trial of the Automated Cone Truck (ACT), a game-changing innovation for road safety. Featured in a report by 10 News First Melbourne and covered by journalist Jack Pirie, the ACT is designed to automate the placement and retrieval of road cones, significantly reducing the risk to traffic controllers by keeping them out of harm’s way. Aaron Ramsay from KPI Construction Services highlighted how the ACT will be instrumental in lowering the number of roadwork-related injuries and fatalities, a critical advancement in improving safety stats. Leasa Condon, one of our ACT Operators, shared her experience of how this technology has transformed her workload and improved the safety of her team. UK Rail Depot safety control specialist FirstClass Safety & Control Ltd (FCSC) has completed two projects for KiwiRail in New Zealand. The projects were delivered in collaboration with its rail partner, Freightquip Pty. FCSC was commissioned to design, manufacture and install its flagship Depot Protection System (DPS) at the Waltham Mechanical Hub (Depot), which is located in Christchurch, New Zealand. #railnews #railways #ukrail #rail
