Recently I came across a LinkedIn post in which under the job role of graphic designer, the job description read , creating Vfx on Blender and Cinema 4D will be a plus. Static graphics and motion graphics aren't similar, Photoshop and After effects aren't similar, Graphic designer and Video editor are two different jobs. Companies want to cut costs to hire a jack of all trades but are they even paying them that much? With graphic designing, video editing skills don't come for free , it takes a hell lot of time to learn these skills.
