    We'd like to extend an offer of a free SalesMail account to senior living and multifamily communities in the path of Hurricane Milton to send video updates to family members, employees, and others to keep them informed in a compassionate way. It is faster to record a video than to draft a perfect email, it will get your message across in a compassionate way, and you can send it by your normal means of communication - CRM, email, text, HubSpot, social, etc. Here are some things to consider about what video messages to send before, during, and after the storm: Pre-Storm - Do family members need to refrain from calling the community during the storm? If so, explain why and provide an alternate phone number (like corporate 800#) for emergencies, if possible.   - What is being done prior to the storm to prepare the community and residents? - What do family members need to know about the situation? - Are there evacuation plans? During the Storm - If possible, provide updates every 3-4 hours about how the building is doing, how the residents are doing, if there are any leaks, flooding, etc. - Provide updates related to any evacuations. After the Storm - Provide updates on the impact, how residents are doing, and any pertinent information family members, residents, employees, or others need to know.
