One in three employers do not provide financial advice as part of their benefits package, despite financial advice being third on the list of workplace benefits that employees see as priorities. If you'd like to discuss how supporting your employees' financial wellbeing can also benefit your organisation, call the Corinthian team today. #FinancialGoals #FinancialWellbeing #WorkplaceWellbeing

Employee Wellbeing 💙 A third (34%) of organisations do not offer financial advice, rising to just over half (51%) of organisations with fewer than 500 employees, recent research has indicated 📊 The most common reason given was perceptions around the risks of poor advice being given or products being mis-sold, with it reflecting badly on the organisation itself 🚩 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/di-Z5mBu At Munny ® we don't sell products or services. The Benefits Guy @ USI | Trusted Benefits Strategist | Helping HR & C-Suite Achieve Their Goals with Custom, Cost-Effective Strategies | Husband & Father | Pickleball Player 🎾| Golfer 🏌️ | 3F = Faith, Family, Freedom
Given the trend towards employers exploring emergency savings benefits as part of their overall employee benefits package, USI's "Mind Body Money" program is particularly relevant. By focusing on the holistic well-being of employees, including their financial health, USI is well-positioned to help companies implement programs that align with the evolving regulatory landscape and employee expectations around emergency savings and financial wellness. Their approach, emphasizing preventative care, mental health, and financial assessments, can provide a comprehensive framework for companies looking to enhance their benefits offerings in line with these trends. For a deeper understanding of how emergency savings benefits are becoming a part of employee benefits, and the role of regulations like PLESA, I recommend reading more about it on HRDive's website: #hr #csuite #employeewellness #benefitsguyatusi #financialadvice

What's your company's pay and progression framework like? This is the first pointer/advice I give to folks who ask about wellbeing at work. Giving your staff the tools to plan their career and know what their trajectory (both in terms of work and finances) is really important for wellbeing. The next two pointers are similar: leave and benefits How clear are your leave policies? How about emergencies? If someone goes into labour, has a medical emergency, etc? Maybe you're thinking 'I'd want people to just message me and we'd sort it out', which is great, but how unwritten is that unwritten rule? Would people know to do that? Think about your unwritten rules, and see if you can make them more written, or more consistent. Even if you can't make them official, making sure your team knows that explicitly. What benefits do you offer? Can you make them more clear? I'm thinking things like: does your pension provider offer sessions to explain how the pension scheme works? Not everyone will have experience or people to talk to about this, especially if they're new to the workforce or come from a blue collar background. Can you offer this? Same with if you offer shares or stock options. Does your provider offer sessions so people can use these bonuses effectively? As a bonus, all of this is great for DEI as well as wellbeing for everyone at work. #WellbeingAtWork #SelfCareCoach

Wellbeing at work so often starts with the basics - benefits, progression, and generally feeling secure at work. The other stuff: mental health first aiders, getting someone like me into do workshops, talks, and long term work are great (please still hire me 😅 ), but they work better with a firm foundation to build from. #WellbeingAtWork #SelfCare

This year has felt like financial wellbeing has undergone a shift. With employees feeling the pinch on housing costs through to ... well just life's costs, juxtaposed with the crucial need to save for future retirement employers are looking at offering support that equips employees to make the right decisions for them. This doesn't mean that it's all on the employee though, the workplace is still absolutely crucial to build those long term savings through auto-enrolment and default options. -Click below to access the full 48 page report (REBA members only), OR - Click here for the 4 page Briefing: https://lnkd.in/dMDmY7Wa #financialwellbeing #wellbeing Reward & Employee Benefits Association (REBA) WEALTH at work

💡 An insightful article on the value of financial wellness in a workplace. Even for a major healthcare provider with a strong pension program, "employees had high levels of financial stress... and when employees are worried about money, they are less focused on work." What if you could enhance your total compensation program as a way to support your employees' wellness? As always, I am open to chat and share some unique trends to bring value to your employees.
