People often ask me, "Why do you do so much research yourself? My simple reply is: I don't want to rely on others for help if I can figure out things myself. May be it sound rude but I prefer to rely on my own abilities first. I remember when I was an intern at Prabhu Bank. I was unfamiliar with banking procedures and the system. But my curiosity helped me explore the bank's website, find the manuals, and print out each book of manuals using my own tiffin money. After just 14 days, I was no longer just an intern—I was working as a valued member of the operational department. I became the backbone of the team, trusted by everyone to use the bank's system with staff login access. I even had the opportunity to guide the new staff, and now she is the senior operational head. I always wish her the best! If you ask anyone from any department who worked with me during that time, they'll tell you that they had never seen an intern with such a hunger for learning and a readiness to implement practical knowledge. Self-reliance is my USP & it's my key to unlock the success! But one thing that I am still confused about is how I made personal relationships with all department members within a short period of time. Maybe it's my god's gift of open-heart to connect with people. #enthusiasm #PrabhuBank

HI ALPFAMILIA! Meeting recap for Tuesday, October 2nd 📝: Yesterday we had the pleasure to collaborate with Bank Of America to learn about their internship opportunities and hiring process. There are three categories in which Bank of America separates their teams: ⭐️ Banking , Markets, and finance: this category directly communicates with customers. Examples include weath management, consumer and small business banking, and global payment solutions. ⭐️ Business support functions: this focuses on teams to ensure successful and efficient day to day business. Examples include Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Office, and Human Resources. ⭐️ Technology and Operations: This category helps provide security and infrastructure of its technology platforms. Examples include Global Technology and Global Operations. The hiring process for Bank of America goes as follows: 1. Learn about the company 2. Submit an application ( careers.bankofamerica.com) 3. The business will review the resume 4. You’ll complete an interview through HireVue, which is a self proctored interview, where you’ll be asked behavioral questions. There are 5 questions and it takes about 25 minutes to complete 5. Top candidates are invited to participate in a final round of interviews.
