Two years ago, a passionate and dedicated group Corning employees came together to form Corning’s Sustainability Network (CSN). Each year they dedicate a week to engaging in sustainability-themed activities, and last week they hosted their second Sustainability Week with 43 events across 25 locations. These events encompassed a range of activities, including a class on composting, a clothing drive collecting professional clothing for students at local universities, and much more. 2moIt is great initiative and happy to be part of this group. This is my first time to actively engage into sustainability initiatives at grass root level and do our part in bits to collectively make significant positive impact. Lots of learnings as well, which are changing my way to look at things within and around.
