So I sit back and listen to all the bru ahh ahh in the tech industry presently and I am amazed at how the African politics system plays out. This is what I mean, giving no room for junior developers and having a regime of senior developers majorly can seem to get the job done for now, but I see a future where there would be a great regret for not bringing juniors onboard cus there would soon be a decline in strength on the sides of seniors and we surely would need to fall back to what we are running away from, which is investing and raising generations. It sounds like adults saying they don't want to give birth because the process of raising kids is stressful and expensive so they better stay away from that trouble, this is what I hear when I see stuffs like "getting juniors can be stressfully, time consuming, expensive..." How can you despise the beautiful process of raising a generation , the pathway to extinction is celibacy...and I see a case of celibacy in the system not wanting to give seed to new life for a new generation to build the future... I pray this goes far, I pray this is not put aside, I pray you see this and change your mind...I pray you see this and consider the future above the urgency of today..it is a worthy sacrifice. The cost of college tuition has soared faster than the cost of food, energy, real estate, and health care. Student loan debt is the second highest consumer debt category in the United States with more than 44 million borrowers who collectively owe more than $1.5 trillion. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are more than 7 million jobs available across the country, the majority of which don’t require a four-year degree. And still, we talk about millions of “shovel ready” jobs for a society that doesn’t encourage people to pick up a shovel. We keep lending money we don’t have to people who can’t pay it back for jobs that don’t exist. Bit by bit, our culture reaffirms the misguided belief that a career in the skilled trades shouldn’t be desired.
