I am currently serving as a board certified chaplain at a level 1 trauma center under Premier Health located in SW Ohio, with 15 years of experience. I want to serve as a corporate chaplain.
We use these chaplains for our office and it's an absolute benefit! Steve comes by every week on the same day and around the same time. I can't tell you how many times people thank me for getting them in here. Thank you!

A great conversation with some one today around the impact we can all have as individuals who genuinely care about each other.
Chance encounters and conversations as well as focussed reviews and monitoring can save lives.
They had never heard this poem before and I found this one on Youtube from the Heathrow team. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I Could Have Saved A Life That Day By:
Don Merrell
I could have saved a life that day,
But I chose to look the other way.
It wasn’t that I didn’t care;
I had the time, and I was there.
But I didn’t want to seem a fool,
Or argue over a safety rule.
I knew he’d done the job before;
If I spoke up he might get sore.
The chances didn’t seem that bad;
I’d done the same, he knew I had.
So I shook my head and walked by;
He knew the risks as well as I.
He took the chance, I closed an eye;
And with that act, I let him die.
I could have saved a life that day,
But I chose to look the other way.
Now every time I see his wife,
I know I should have saved his life.
That guilt is something I must bear;
But isn’t’ something you need to share.
If you see a risk that others take
That puts their health or life at stake,
The question asked or thing you say;
Could help them live another day.
If you see a risk and walk away,
Then hope you never have to say,
“I could have saved a life that day,
But I chose to look the other way.”

Tim DesGrosseilliers’ workplace death was tragic AND preventable in many ways.
1. Tim had complained to management about safety issues numerous times before his death. His concerns were ignored.
2. He wasn’t supposed to work the day he was killed, but as a thoughtful employee, he came in to help out.
3. He was rushed into a job, with insufficient backup help. This affected his decision-making -- which ultimately led to his death.
Employers must do a better job protecting the safety of their employees. Profit and deadlines cannot take priority over safety.

The two things I always have in my mind as an IT Specialist:
The user and the customer. Our user's ability to navigate their equipment and digital landscapes has a direct impact on our customers. This relationship between our users and customers highlights the importance of addressing issues that contribute to a negative experience, especially as it concerns information technology.
Anyone who has been in the military knows that User Acceptance/Experience isn't always a high priority, but I will always stress that it is extremely important, especially when those users are the ones that drive the Customer experience and satisfaction.
I am proud to do work that has a positive impact and leads to a successful outcome for our customers.

Here's a staggering revelation from Inc. Magazine: unresolved conflicts within your organization could cost you $1,100 per employee annually. It's time to take conflict seriously because it directly impacts your bottom line.
Every Chaplain at CCA is trained in conflict resolution so they can help you create a healthy work environment, minimizing conflicts, and boosting your profitability.
Are you ready to eliminate the hidden costs of conflict?
