Sometimes the smallest jobs can have many issues to address to achieve the correct installation and provide the longevity the client requires. We carried out this lining earlier this week to a pit constructed of pre-cast rings. It is typical to find issues around ground water ingress and/or liquid egress from these pits. In this case the pit held oils and jet fuels presenting significant environmental risk. With a fast turn around required we opted for Raven Lining Systems 405 ultra high build, solvent free epoxy supplied by SPI PERFORMANCE COATINGS #tanklinings #chemicalresistance #environmental #protectivecoatings

BEHIND THE SCENES BEFORE THE DRY ICE BLASTING TAKES PLACE ALOT OF THE TIMES! The power of Dry Ice Blasting is incredible, but a lot of times there is a huge amount of preparation that goes into to getting that site ready to blast. This video is one such case. Multiple feed valves, carring paint harders into the mixing tanks often continuously leak after being cut off or disconnected causing an unbelievable mess. It is critical that these areas, have the contamination removed on a regular basis to prevent buildup. After the CMC crew removes the buildup, we will Dry Ice Blast the remaining area to finish up the project. Give CMC Industrial Services of North Carolina LLC a call for you next project, and leave your questions and comments below! #dryice #dryicemanufacturing #dryiceblasting #CO2 #carboncapture #ncchamber #coolestthingsmanufacturedinnc #coldstorage #coldcapping #Colemanindustrialgases #cmcdryice #cmcindustrialservices #foodandbeverage #co2shortage #fireandsmokedamage #brewersassociation #historicrestoration #plantcleanup #dustlessblasting

If a surface covered with ZincTape is damaged for any reason, it is very easy to repair and very safe. With its 80 qm thickness, ZincTape prevents atmospheric corrosion for many years (ISO 9223), and there is no need for paint or maintenance. It can be used safely in water, on scaffolding legs, on oil platforms and in pipelines. It is electroconductive and self-adhesive. #corrosion #corrosionprotection #corrosionprevention #korozyon #corrosioncontrol

The importance of the thickness of these layers cannot be overstated in pipe rehabilitation and for ensuring long-lasting coats. Each layer has a specific function, including corrosion protection, structural support, or chemical resistance. It’s essential that each layer is applied with precision to the correct thickness. Overly thick layers, while potentially cost-ineffective, can lead to issues such as drips and lumps, which may compromise the surface’s smoothness and uniformity. Such imperfections can affect the pipe’s functionality and its longevity. Regular inspection and precise application are key to maintaining a coating system that can withstand environmental stressors and perform effectively over time. Ultra High-Pressure Water Blasting There are many reasons ultra high-pressure water blasting is chosen as the preferred method of surface preparation. There are large costs associated with abrasive blasting. some of these costs are containment, dust extraction, dehumidification, abrasive media and removal. Ultra high-pressure water blasting or UHPWB is well suited to the refurbishment process. In most cases where coatings have failed a surface profile still exists. ✔️Industrial Cleaning Specialist ✔️Dry Ice Blasting Technology ✔️Water-Free Pressure Cleaning ✔️Eco-Friendly Cleaning Technology ✔️Increase Productivity - Reduce Downtime
Traditional mould remediation methods involve sanding and scraping to remove staining and mold that is embedded in wood. These processes are very time-consuming and cause many challenges as far as reaching the small spaces where mold can grow. Chemical cleaning and soda blasting create poor visibility and additional clean-up. The only way to ensure complete mold spore removal from wood is through Cold Jet dry ice blast cleaning. Cleaning with Cold Jet Dry Ice Blasting Provides: ✔️No secondary waste ✔️Reduced cleaning time (up to 80%) ✔️Increase in Quality standards ✔️Clean in-place, no cool down, with minimal disassembly ✔️A non-abrasive clean that won’t damage substrates ✔️Non-conductive process ✔️Media entrapment elimination ✔️Increased operator safety ✔️An environmentally responsible clean ❄️𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲? Pipeline anti-corrosion equipment Coating and Wrapping Process THE PROCESS: Pipe Cleaning: Pipes are pre-cleaned for removing the oil, grease, mill scale, moisture and other foreign material by solvent cleaning and/or flame heating methods. Pipes are cleaned by blast cleaning unit using grit and/or shot abrasive for obtaining Sa 2 ½ degree surface cleanliness and blast profile with anchor pattern between 40 – 80 microns.

One of the most important factors relating to the successful application of a coating or surface treatment is the thorough and correct surface preparation. ✅ Contaminants like oil, grease, dirt, existing coatings, corrosion, salts etc. which are present on the surface prior to coating need to be carefully assessed and an acceptable contamination level will need to be agreed. To find out more about the importance of surface preparation, the four main factors that affect the coating system's performance, and how to create an acceptable level of surface profile, take a look at The Elcometer Guide to Surface Preparation in the Protective Coatings Industry: https://bit.ly/3r5k1eI #ProtectiveCoating #CoatingPreparation #ElcometerCoating
