Piece of advice. If you try a new business strategy, give it 6 moths before killing it. Even if you don’t get immediate results. We recently had a huge breakthrough in GTeX. We started implementing this new strategy to sell our premium offers in October. It took 5 months to see some of the results and I have to say that is one of the best moves we made in the past 3 years. Moral of the story. If you commit to a plan, give it enough time for the seed to grow.

Companies are "wasting everyones time" :) Companies who are sold to are putting up more and more defensive armour around themselves to keep out Sales People. Those armours are joint by a almost zero purchase attitude. Those companies KNOW that there are many better solutions out there. Remember that the internal innovation rate is often low and internal politics can destroy the best business development project. This is where the SELLING Companies need to align their whole organisation around - are we solving a TOP PROBLEM FAST and not adding to INTERNAL MISALIGNMENT? If not - the selling company will not grow and realise much later that it was already dead.
