#Day8/100 Days Challenge Diaster Recovery plan (DRP): The terms Disaster recovery plan and Business continuity plan (BCP) are sometimes used interchangeably. But, Disaster recovery refers specifically to the process of recovering and restoring an organization’s IT systems and data after a disruption(Cyber attack). It involves creating and implementing a plan to recover critical systems and data, including backups and redundancies, so that the organization can resume operations as quickly as possible. It is also focused on minimizing downtime and ensuring that IT systems and data are restored as quickly as possible. While, Business Continuity Plan (BCP) aims at ensuring that business operations continue during and after any crisis, so as to preserve financial stability and reputation. Staying prepared for any disaster is crucial for businesses so as to avoid expensive downtime or even shutting down permanently when these disruptive event occurs.
