I repurposed all posts last week (7 posts) The results surprised me: 1) No one points out that you reused the posts (coz they don't remember) 2) The engagement is as usual. (Algorithm doesn't penalise you for posting same content twice) 3) It helped me to focus on other activities whole week (Saved a lot of time & energy from writing new content) All in all.. there's nothing to lose. Repurposing helps your content to reach a wider audience who might've missed it earlier. Why would my audience choose to read my content?   - There's a ton of stuff out there to read online. We have all seen those posts about needing to be on platfroms 24/7, right? But for me there's a difference between posting every day and actually being consistent. Posting everyday❌ Consistency in Value✅ Don't get me wrong but the thing is, Forcing yourself to post something just for the sake of it can actually hurt the algos. Nobody wants to see those random shitts fr. (Just being honest) Your fam will appreciate awesome posts way more, even if they're not daily. Plus, the algo thingy loves engaging content, so your killer posts will actually get seen by more people. So ditch the daily pressure! Post when you have something truly lit to share. Your followers (and your brain) will thank you for it later. I push companies to make video content for 2 reasons: 1. It is the most effective content to build recognition and trust. When somebody sees 10 videos of you, they feel like they know you. They recognize and trust you. That is not the case when they read 10 posts of you. Trust is essential when selling. 2. Most social media platforms are (becoming) video-first I've said this before and I'll say it again: LinkedIn is becoming video first. The same happened with Instagram and Facebook. It's simply the preferred way of consuming content today. LinkedIn's job is to keep people on the platform as long as possible, video seems to be the most effective format to realize this. __ You should start making low-threshold video content asap. Get familiar with the format. Prioritize starting over perfect content at first. You'll get better later.

I'm writing good content but not getting much engagement on my LinkedIn Do you also feel the same? Recently, one of my friends shared this issue with me, and I do believe them when they say their content is good. So what could be the problem? No, it's not that they aren't engaging with other's content. They are doing it fairly. The problem is they are not able to get their audience's attention properly. You can write all the good content in the world, but if you're not able to grab your audience's attention, the piece get fewer eyes. And it's not good for good content to remain hidden. Now, how to grab the audience's attention? Be better with hooks. That's it. There is no second point. You can also use relevant images as they grab the attention. This is the biggest mistake I see social media managers make: Letting shyness ruin their content opportunity. What you don't see in this photo is the 5 minute mental pep talk I had to give myself because I occasionally get nervous approaching people for content.... But the videos aren't going to record themself! It's normal to feel uneasy about asking people if they want to be filmed because more often than not, they're going to reject it. So what? I should be creating more content. But I also have a love/hate relationship with social media. It feels a little inauthentic. I always have 2 thoughts when I see people's content on social: 1. People who are really good at a thing just do the thing. They don't need to talk about it or convince other people that they are good at the thing 2. It feels weird to position myself as an "expert" at anything when there are people more experienced in anything that I do or anything that I have an opinion on. Those of you who are good at creating content: Ever struggle with these kinds of thoughts? How do you overcome them?

🛑Just stop posting about how other people's content is boring.🛑 That's boring. 🤷You have a choice about who you follow, connect and interact with. 🤔They may not be creating content for you. 😨 It is really hard and totally out of a lot of people's comfort zone to show up on social media. And those types of posts just create another barrier to them doing so. ☹️ It's also totally unsupportive - would you accuse someone you met of being boring? I doubt it.
