Continuing the #PrideMonth Celebrations 🌈
The Pride Month celebrations continue aboard our ships and at our Headquarters in #Genoa 🛳️
Our colleagues at The C gathered for a special Pride Month aperitif, filled with vibrant colors, laughter, and unity 🫶🏻
The event highlighted our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equality, celebrating #love and respect in all its forms. Together, we enjoyed delightful conversations, delicious food, and a toast to a more inclusive future 🍸
A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this event unforgettable. Let's continue to celebrate love and pride every day, both at sea and on land 🏳️🌈
🎉 As we continue through Hispanic Heritage Month, I invite leaders to see it not just as dates on a calendar 📆 but as opportunities to dive 🏊♀️ into the rich tapestry of diverse cultures that make up the organizations you belong to.
It's not just about acknowledging this month; it's about celebrating 🥳 them in a way that fosters self-awareness 🙇♀️, personal development, and an inclusive mindset 🌈.
For example, consider implementing a 'Cultural Storytelling Day' 📖 where employees share anecdotes from their lineage—a platform that allows for the sharing of beautiful narratives and traditions and, in the process, fosters understanding 👂 and acceptance ❤️.
Another example could be having 'Food Festivals' 🍽️ where colleagues get to sample different cuisines from around their countries. Breaking bread together 🥖, after all, is a universal sign of solidarity 👫.
A third example could be organizing 'Heritage Workshops.' 🎨 The hands-on experience of crafting traditional art or learning a folk dance 💃 brings people together like nothing else.
Living cultural differences within your company is not just about observing traditions; it's about celebrating as if you were part of it.🥂
You create a more robust, vibrant organizational culture when you seek understanding and are curious to know every thread of diversity 🌍.
The result? An environment where everyone feels seen 👀, heard 👂, and respected—a place where everyone is encouraged to bring their authentic whole self to work every single day 🌟.
So....dive into your roots, sharing your heritage. Your story matters. Your culture matters. You matter. 💪

What a week!
20th ANNIVERSARY or YARAVERSARY for YARA
Starting today, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Yara as a separate company, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange in March 2004.
In Australia we are also celebrating employees who have 20 + years of service with Yara, one at 20 years this year, one at 26 years this year and one at 46 years this year! The Yara brand being underpinned by "KNOWLEDGE GROWS" and each of these remarkable employees recognizing their impact to the business, to others and their own development. Each from different countries, backgrounds and roles.
HARMONY WEEK
Harmony week recognizes acceptance, belonging for everyone through respect and mutual successes. Harmony Week is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community. Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries in the world and we should celebrate this and work to maintain it.
International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination
Over the past ten years, racist incidents have been reported in practically all aspects of Australian society from everyday settings such as public transport, to essential institutions such as education and healthcare. One-third of all Australians have experienced racism in the workplace and/or in educational facilities. More than two thirds of students from a non-Anglo background reported facing racism at school.
Each of these represent important messages in growing understanding to grow knowledge and celebrate differences.
I often hear how people think things are getting harder, more politically correct, and impractical to what we used to know, and at times, on the surface I agree with this. Surely its more inclusive and accepting to focus on what is great about these conversations and what we can self-reflect on for a better outcome because there is always room for improvement.

🌈 Celebrating Pride Month at Resilient Reflex! 🌈
We are thrilled to introduce ourselves and our company, Resilient Reflex, during Pride Month—a time that holds special significance for us. Founded by my wife and I, our journey has been one of resilience and empowerment, inspiring us to help others embrace their unique qualities and strengths.
Our Story:
Our resilience in all aspects of our lives has empowered us to understand the special and specific needs of teaching others to accept and reinforce the unique qualities of each individual. As facilitators, we use our skills and talents to help grow the community, one company at a time.
Our Values:
We work together and communicate effectively. Our main rule is to listen to understand, not just to respond. By combining our talents, we connect and enrich our resources to assist our clients in achieving growth and success.
Why Pride Month Matters:
Pride Month is a time of reflection and appreciation for us. It’s an opportunity to celebrate strength and resilience, especially in the workforce. We have experienced firsthand the need to remain silent amidst hurtful comments and misconceptions. Our goal is to eliminate such negativity from the workplace and stand in solidarity with our fellow humans.
Our Commitment:
We take pride in having difficult conversations, even with our own family members, to promote mindfulness and respect without pressure to accept or deny our families. We know what it feels like to be alienated, and we are committed to ensuring that no one else feels this way in the workforce.
Our Vision:
Resilient Reflex aims to remove stigmatization and focus on human resources in a holistic manner. We facilitate, train, guide, and teach new forms of connection to bridge barriers and foster engagement with the utmost respect and professionalism.
Our Message:
We are all humans with the same rights, regardless of rhetoric or religion. We have a right to exist, and that is a strength we should embrace on our own terms. This Pride Month, we celebrate not only our resilience but the resilience of every individual who has ever felt marginalized.
Join us in celebrating love, equality, and resilience. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈✨

Your support feels like a strong espresso on a Monday morning - much needed and highly appreciated. It's like I'm on a mission to shake up the corporate world, challenging norms and adding some extra spice.
- DEI stands for diversity, equity and inclusion.
- These are the values that guide our business and brand identity.
- We believe that by fostering a culture of awareness and respect for different perspectives, backgrounds and experiences, we can create a more innovative, productive and sustainable organization.
## Our DEI initiatives and practices
In this blog post, we will share some of the initiatives and practices that we have implemented to promote DEI in our workplace and in our interactions with our customers, partners and stakeholders. Some of these initiatives include:
- Creating a DEI committee that oversees and monitors our progress and performance on various aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Providing regular training and workshops for our employees on topics such as **unconscious bias**, cultural competence, allyship and inclusive communication.
- Developing a hiring and retention strategy that aims to attract and retain diverse talent, and to ensure fair and equitable compensation and career development opportunities for all.
- Engaging with our customers, partners and stakeholders through surveys, feedback sessions, events and social media to understand their needs, expectations and experiences with our brand and products.
- Supporting and partnering with local and global organizations that advocate for social justice, human rights and environmental sustainability.
## Our benefits and challenges
We will also highlight some of the benefits and challenges that we have encountered along the way, and how we are continuously learning and improving our efforts.
## What is unconscious bias?
Unconscious bias is the tendency to make judgments or decisions based on stereotypes, assumptions or preferences that are not based on rational or factual evidence. Unconscious bias can affect how we perceive, evaluate, interact with or treat others who are different from ourselves. Unconscious bias can influence our hiring, promotion, performance evaluation, teamwork, customer service, leadership, innovation and creativity. Unconscious bias can be reduced by becoming aware of it, challenging it, seeking feedback, diversifying our exposure and perspectives, and creating inclusive policies and practices.
LOOKING FOR NEW JOB. THEN I AM OPEN TO WORK.
