👷 Championing Apprenticeships in Construction On Wednesday, 4th December, Jelena had the privilege of representing One Stop Hire at the final Cross Industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force (CCATF) meeting of 2024 in London. 🌟 CCATF brings together over 250 members from Construction and Tool Hire sectors, all united by a commitment to apprenticeship training. The meeting, chaired by Martyn Price (Chairman of CCATF) and organised by Chris Selby, included insightful discussions on key industry topics and updates from government representatives. Attendees and speakers included major organisations such as Balfour Beatty plc, NHBC NOCN Group CITB and the Department for Education. Apprenticeships Provide Opportunities for Machine Trades Students The second-year curriculum for Machine Trades Program students at New Castle Career Center (NCCC) includes the opportunity for apprenticeships with local partners, such as Crown Equipment and Kent Machine. These apprenticeships allow students to apply foundational knowledge learned in their first year to real-world careers.
