I particularly love it when one of the children share their earnings with another child for what they think is the right thing to do considering they both put in the same amount of effort. In #2022, women earn 17% less than men on average. The #genderpaygap between what #men and #women continues every year, indicating that the reasons are systemic. What are some #organizationalpractices that can be taken up to close the #genderpaygap: 1.      Use Market salary data to determine the current pay package (vs asking salary current/previous employer) 2.      Diversify your interviewers to diversify your potential candidates, and look for culture ‘add’ vs culture fit 3.      Publish wage ranges for all levels of roles so there is transparency in the pay determination process 4.      Conduct pay equity audits and then most importantly action to close the gaps 5.      Include female leadership in succession planning 6.      Review your policies, processes, and practices to ensure they are aligned with the gender pay equity efforts. (Processes lead to results) Taking action to close the #genderpaygap with Subha Pandian AGUA
