After one month at Reckitt, in April 2023, I spent a week in the US to meet the Nutrition team and visit some of our key locations, such as Evansville and Parsippany. I was very excited to receive such a broad onboarding and to meet people F2F oversea. It helped me create relationships and understand better our Infant hero brands. Since then, I have built step by step my Nutrition knowledge thanks to a very passionate team across the world. ✅ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲? I usually have very busy afternoons/evenings as majority of my stakeholders are based in the US. We use that time to connect as much as possible to progress on projects. In the morning, I use that ‘‘quiet‘‘ time to focus on my work (analysis, emails, presentations etc.). But everyday is different, which I like a lot, not to end up in a routine. ✅ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂? 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁? I am really into action and operations, and like when things are done with speed and accuracy. But you cannot achieve that without the support of your team & stakeholders, this is why team spirit matters so much to me. My role was created when I joined Reckitt, so it was at the same time easy and challenging to make it my own. Easy because I was able to think by myself and work on a blank page. Challenging because there was no predecessor to rely on (in terms of process and ways of working). This journey has been incredibly enriching, allowing me to delve into the intricacies of these crucial functions from the perspective of industry leaders at one of the world's most esteemed luxury groups: LVMH. Throughout this immersive experience, I had the privilege of studying and absorbing the insights of seasoned professionals. The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. reported second-quarter sales dropped 7% to $4.3 billion, but shares jumped as much as 19% on news of a restructuring plan and a workforce reduction. Estée Lauder has about 62,000 employees globally and will eliminate 3% to 5% of those jobs. The profit recovery plan is expected to drive incremental operating profits of $1.1 to $1.4 billion if successful.
