👏 Very good Global Returns Project hosted at Allies and Morrison last night. 💡 Insightful facts presented by Jack Chellman which clearly explained the purpose and reason for the existence of Global Returns Project (and why financial advisers need to pay attention). 💯 And very useful tips and strategies shared by those in the know - George King IV from MASECO Private Wealth, Charlotte Prothero from Pro Bono Economics and Roy Coulson from Attivo - about how advisers can bring advising clients about these topics into their practice.
Last night, we co-hosted The Business of Giving: Environmental Philanthropy in Financial Advice with Pro Bono Economics and the Personal Finance Society, supported by UKSIF's Good Money Week. Our Chief Project Officer, Jack Chellman, began with an evidence-based overview of why advisers should connect clients with climate and nature charities as part of regular financial planning. As Jack noted, there are clients "who want to be talking about philanthropy and our planet." The event featured a panel of industry experts—Roy Coulson (Head of Proposition, Attivo ), Charlotte Prothero (External Affairs Manager, Pro Bono Economics), and George King IV (Senior Wealth Manager, MASECO Private Wealth)—who discussed the commercial advantages of incorporating environmental philanthropy into financial advice. Read the full article by Tara O'Connor in the Financial Times here 👇 https://lnkd.in/gzHd5Hnd Special thanks to Allies and Morrison for generously hosting us in their space and making this important event possible! #Philanthropy #FinancialAdvisers #GoodMoneyWeek
