Jesus alone = salvation Jesus + anything = no salvation Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus alone. Works are not a part of salvation. Works should follow salvation but are not required in order to be saved. Salvation 🆚 discipleship makes them opposing each other. We should be disciples after salvation. The order is the issue. The Gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and faith in Jesus alone is the only requirement for salvation.

If you believe that anything besides simple faith in Jesus Christ is required for salvation—whether it's obeying the Ten Commandments aka 613 laws or doing good deeds or how you live or how good you really are or your behavior etc—you are pushing/promoting a damnable works-based salvation.
