The Indian government has rightly given a clarion call for India to be a Chip Maker rather than a Chip Taker. The requirement of semiconductors in India's national security domain has become critical since they form the substrate of every important activity in the country from the economic to the military domain. Ensuring U.S. leadership in semiconductor technology and securing the integrity of the value chains that design, manufacture, package, and distribute these chips are perhaps the preeminent economic and national security concerns of the modern era. Coalescion and COVINTS participated in the annual Global Tech Summit, co-hosted by #Carnegie India and India’s Ministry of External Affairs (#MEAGOI) in #NewDelhi, #India last week.
