I want to celebrate this International #Women's Day by sharing a picture of my extraordinary colleagues. They are strong, beautiful, courageous, and above all, they fight everyday to make a difference. In today's world, far too many women are underestimated. Often, they are deprived of rights and access to education. 📌 Data from 68 countries indicates that a woman's #education is a critical determinant of a child's survival. 📌 Children of mothers with no education in the Latin American and Caribbean region are 3.1 times more likely to die than those with mothers who have secondary or tertiary education, and 1.6 times more likely to die than those whose mothers have primary-level education. (source: UN WOMEN - https://lnkd.in/dMK8ry4U) I hope that there will be more women like my colleagues in the world.  And more people and companies supporting their growth. Because a world where women cannot thrive is a poor world - in every sense. 

🌟 Impressions from ISE 2024 in Barcelona: A mix of the familiar and the new! 🌟 What an exciting time at this year's Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Barcelona! Here are some of our impressions and experiences that we would like to share with you: 🤝 We were delighted to meet many long-time acquaintances in person and to continue networking. It was like a class reunion that gave us the opportunity to share our progress, challenges, and future plans. 🌐 At the same time, we also made many new and interesting acquaintances who enriched us with fresh perspectives and ideas. It's always inspiring to meet new faces and experience the diversity of our industry. 🚀 While we were all looking for the "next big thing", we were thrilled with the advancements and excellent product care presented at the show. It shows that innovation is a continuous process and that our industry is constantly finding new ways to grow and thrive. 💬 The conversations we had were invaluable and there was a wealth of knowledge and ideas shared. Each discussion has helped to broaden our horizons and open up new perspectives. 🏟️ The trade fair organizers deserve praise for their improvements compared to last year. Waiting times at the entrance were minimal, which made access to the fair incredibly smooth. ⏳ The time flew by and even though we enjoyed every minute, there were still some things we would have liked to explore longer. 📅 We are already looking forward to next year and will plan to spend even more time discovering everything ISE has to offer. It's an opportunity we don't want to miss to connect with like-minded people, find inspiration and share our passion for the industry. I strongly believe in the value of #professional_international_engagements. In #innovation_ecosystem, there's a great opportunity for businesses to participate in international events, but certain criteria must be met, including cost-sharing mechanisms that enhance the perceived value for participants (Including percentage and cap limits, ensuring that applicants contribute to the costs, which adds value and respect to the process). As the #GITEX (GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World) approaches and Based on my experiences in international activities, I try to use this opportunity. So here are a few #insights I’d like to share generaly: 1. #Professionalism_is_key: Whether it’s the way you present yourself, your catalog, or your overall conduct, it’s essential to maintain a #professional_approach in international settings. Equally important is the mindset of learning from others in these interactions (So Highly recommended to do both-way). 2. #Participation_is_crucial: It's vital for both #businesses and #policymakers to actively engage in foreign and international events. From #networking to #policy_learning, these experiences are invaluable, even for high-level government officials. 3. A #process_driven_approach: government supports should focus more on the #learning_process rather than immediate results like contract signings or exhibition booths. Observing how others organize their events and present their products can lead to long-term benefits for sure. 4. #Empowering_private_sector: International events should be an opportunity for private sector development, not just a platform for government officials to give speeches!!! 😶 If there is a support and sponsorship by a #governmet entity DO NOT make it #conditional on government officials speaking at that international event!!! Let businesses, start-ups and innovators present their #Capabilities and expand interactions (Economic, Scientific&Technologic) By rethinking the way we approach these opportunities, we can foster both #individual_growth and #national_progress. Key learnings from Gitex Global - Why to visit and why not to: Before visiting the conference I tried to research a lot on it but even after being the biggest tech gathering with more than 18,000 registrations there are not many insights available. Why to visit - ✅ Industry Updates - Almost all the major tech companies of the world exhibited there. So you get to learn more about what their focus is and where the industry is going. ✅ Visibility in new markets - We found out some amazing companies doing exceptional work based out of locations where otherwise you would not get exposure to like China and Korea, and smaller countries like Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and smaller African nations all of them had significant presence. ✅ Partnerships - Avoid big stalls as a mid-size company. They are mostly about glamour and almost no decision makers on booth. We found some amazing companies who had smaller to mid-size presence where key decision makers were there and could find lot of synergies in working together and we became customers as well to few. ✅ Hardware market - Gitex is not just about software in tech, there were numerous exhibitors showcasing interesting tools and products which is still niche for India. Almost all of them are looking for support to get into Indian market. ✅ Expansion in MEA - If you plan to expand in middle east which is a huge market in tech, this is the right place to embrace. Why not to visit - 🔴 Finding IT customers - If you are not exhibiting and going there to get customers, you may find some, but it will be like needle in the haystack. You can get great partnerships to grow your businesses together but not typical customers. 🔴 No product to showcase - Like any other trade show, a tailored offering is an absolute must if you want to talk to everyone there. If you are smart, have a few of them but only pull out right card at right time. 🔴 For sessions - As it is a global trade show, the conferences are not tailored and are talking about broad perspectives. If you are already keeping yourself up to date in the market, it may not be of much use. 🔴 Global focus - Many bigger exhibitors had their Middle East departments showcasing. So if you are looking for global opportunities, some might be graceful to connect you to right market but don't expect all to assist you with it. Overall, it was a great experience.
