As we track the 2024 logistics hiring market, here's a few trends we're finding... - #Sales talent remains in high demand for most #freightforwarders - California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee/Alabama are particularly hot - Sales experience in healthcare, medical, tech, and semiconductor verticals are highly valued in All US markets - Account Mgmt, Leadership, and Operations opportunities remain more limited than Sales - However they are sharply trending up from last year, and our southeastern US states seem to be leading the demand - Some forwarders and brokers report seeing volume growth now in Q2, while a majority expect their volumes to return circa Q3 Overall, I see two of the top ten forwarders playing true offense right now. They win consistently because they train & execute consistently. Their efforts will snowball, and the results of their investments will only set them further ahead over the coming years.
