Our world was created for harmony and #peace. Yet divisions, shootings, injustice, #bullying, terrorism, war erupt all around us, with costly results*. “A House Divided Cannot Stand” (see my one minute video in my blog https://lnkd.in/eZz6YXD) My heart breaks. When we share #power, it leads to peace and #prosperity.* Consider the statements and intention shared in the written blog as well as the examples in the video of when I feel I have handled bullying well and not so well.
I believe that our world is created for harmony and peace, and yet we're we're not there. We're far from there, it feels like right now. And that breaks my heart. I don't know about you. And it's also costly to our organizations, our communities, our nations, the world. And so how do we handle that? And I believe that that sharing power leads to increased prosperity and peace. And today I'm going to share 2 little stories and then one that I feel like I handled well. And one I did not handle well. And what we can learn from those and what I've learned and and how we can handle them differently. So the first story was a boss that I had saying, you know, because you didn't close the virtual meeting room out, you're not going to get to the the clients that we promised you. And this was just one of many examples where it felt like she delighted in. Taking away things that it had been promised or, or punishing me and I felt like that was because my credentials were higher than than hers. And sometimes people can get in bullying types of behavior when they and they don't want to share power with someone else and they feel threatened by someone else's position or they just feel like they're they're better than them and they want to put the other person. In their place. And so after many instances of this and her saying, you know, we need to set up a meeting and talk about this, which I knew, you know, she was just going to let me have it in the meeting and I was getting tired of that so. I talked with some other people, kind of reached out for consult and they said, well, you know, if you go through with your plan of asking an HR representative to be on the call and you'll probably lose your job and. I kind of weighed the consequences and decided to do that and so. When I brought this up with her, she said, oh, well, you know, you want someone else to hear all of all the things that you're doing wrong. And I said, well, I would be OK with that. I would feel more comfortable having an HR representative in our conversation. So she did not let me have it in that conversation. I did lose my position, but not after several other layoffs. The organization was was downsizing. So I was in the position and I realized now looking back, you know, I was able to do that because. Of my privilege, you know that I, I am white, I am well educated I did have a financial reserve so umm, you know I, I do have my documents I, I am a citizen so I didn't have to worry about some of the consequences that that others would have to worry about in that situation and I am going to provide a model in the, in the written text of, of my blog today on how to. How to handle situations like this and? You know, I'm just thankful also because of my position of privilege that I am not experiencing microaggressions, you know, daily or multiple times a day throughout my life. And this was a very rare occurrence, but it was over 10 years ago. So it was obviously has stuck in my mind, as has another experience. And this was the one I didn't think I handled very well. So I was on a very long international flight. With a cranky flight attendant. And I noticed her behavior towards two young families I thought was extra harsh. You know, just her tone of voice and calling out for for minor infractions. The children standing up to switch parents while the seat belt light was on was was one example. And this was also over 10 years ago and still fresh in my mind. I what I wish I had done was to pull her aside and have a conversation with her, which I did not do. And also to follow up with the airline, you know, reporting out what I saw. I felt like it was as a result of, of bias. These two families were of different ethnicities than the white flight attendant. One was speaking, one family was speaking Spanish. The other appeared to be Middle Eastern. What I did do is as we were leaving the flight to. To tell the families, to acknowledge them how well I thought they'd handled their their young children, you know, to wish them well, just to speak warmly. I think that the one family always behind offered to help. But I did not go the the extra step and step in as an ally and I have been trained in that since then. So stay tuned for the the full text blog later today. And thanks. Thanks for tuning in.
As a society, we shall not tolerate anti-Semites and people that praise terrorists that go after civilians to kill them in a variety of cruel ways. Together, we shall strive to put them behind bars, and if we cannot then at least make sure our companies do not hire them, that they do not educate our kids, and generally distance ourselves from them.
If you want to contribute to this effort, please report any act of terrorism support, and especially physical and other forms of violence.
Here's a place where you can report, and let the community take action against these rogue weeds:

Hopefully we can extend this effort to racism, homophobic, and other bad characters that destroy our society.
#terroristIsreal bombing homes and taking innocent lives... Imagine the agony as these children perish under the weight of rubble, their fragile bodies crushed, their eyes wide with terror. Many may find these images too distressing to watch. Yet, we must remember, this is the stark reality of oppression, with the most vulnerable, the children and women, bearing the brunt in #Gaza. #humanity#savechildern#UN#ICJ

In the wake of an outrageous act of #terrorism perpetrated by #Hamas on #October7, where 1139 #Israelis were #killed including 650 civilians, 38 of whom were #children, where women were subject to appalling indignities, #civilians taken #hostage and 6000 missiles launched into Israel, the #Greens’ immediate answer was to blame #Israel and call for a #ceasefire.
So it was no surprise that on #October11, and with a ground #war from the #IDF more than a month away, #AdamBandt offered no condemnation of #Hamas without condemning Israel in the same breath.
In the House on #October16, #Bandt and his three #Greens colleagues voted against a motion to condemn #Hamas. Elizabeth Watson-Brown, Stephen Bates and Max Chandler-Mather joined Bandt sitting awkwardly on the opposition benches all alone. A week later, the #Greens denounced the #IDF ground invasion of #Gaza, which hadn’t then taken place."
The #Greens are now in full view with any doubts about their #evil#ideology cast aside. This is a party driven by #criticaltheory. They split society into two. You’re either an #oppressor or you’re a victim. The lives and human rights of what they perceive as the oppressor class are non-existent. The only people who matter are the so-called #oppressed. This absurd derivation of #Marxism defines all of us by race, gender and sexual preference.

"I cannot understand how raw, naked evidence can be overridden by American intellectuals just because the ‘security’ of Israel demands it, but it is overridden or hidden no matter how overpoweringly cruel, no matter how inhuman and barbaric, no matter how loudly Israel proclaims what it is doing. To bomb a hospital; to use napalm against civilians; to require Palestinian men and boys to crawl, or bark, or scream ‘Arafat is a whore’s son’; to break the arms and legs of children; to confine people in desert detention camps without adequate space, sanitation, water or legal charge; to use teargas in schools: All these are horrific acts, whether they are part of a war against ‘terrorism’ or the requirements of security. Not to note them, not to remember them, not to say, ‘Wait a moment: Can such acts be necessary for the sake of the Jewish people?’ is inexplicable, but it is also to be complicit in these acts. The self-imposed silence of intellectuals who possess, in other cases and for other countries, supremely fine critical faculties is stunning." - 1989 - Edward Said
📆 22 August - International Day Commemorating the Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief
Today, we honor those who have #suffered or #losttheirlives due to acts of #violence based on #religion or #belief. This day reminds us of the urgent need to uphold #HumanRights, especially the #freedoms enshrined in Articles 18, 19, and 20 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Open dialogue, #interfaith efforts, and respecting #freedom of #expression are key to combating #religiousintolerance and #hatred. Let's unite in condemning all forms of violence and #terrorism, ensuring that no one suffers for their beliefs.

Yes, the 5.56×45mm NATO round is designed to cause wounding:
Soft tissue damage: The 5.56×45mm NATO round is more damaging than larger calibers because of the way it behaves after impact, which causes greater cavitation in soft tissues.
Wound severity: The injury caused by a 5.56 mm bullet can be several to dozens of times more severe than that caused by a 7.62 mm bullet.
Shredding: The lead core of the bullet shreds, which can cause injuries.
Soft point or hollow point rounds: These types of 5.56 rounds cause injuries almost immediately upon impact.
However, the US Army has said that the 5.56×45mm NATO's lack of close range lethality is more a matter of perception than fact. With good shot placement to the head and chest, the target is usually defeated.
The 5.56×45mm NATO is the main bullet type used by guns made for NATO militaries. It was first used in the Vietnam War as the main bullet used by the US military.
"We were the big gorilla in NATO since we had the money and most of the troops; we rammed the 7.62x51 down their throats (several nations wanted the 7,9 or 7,9 Kurz, and Britain wanted their .280), and while that wound was still raw, we forced the 5.56 on them. The other nations were not happy campers, since each change required a whole new small arms setup, procurement, training, supply, etc. For small nations, even with U.S. aid, those changes had big impact.
And it was not only small arms. We did much the same with other ordnance, with commo equipment and procedures, vehicle specs, etc. NATO had to go along (in spite of the pro-Soviet rants of American leftists, the USSR really was a threat to Western Europe), but they didn't like it, which is one reason they are reluctant to back us today."Jim
While there's the economic drive to monopolize (warren buffet secret to winning), the research into this size showed that it was more effective at keeping victims alive than 7.62 which was supposed to be the NATO round until the US decided it will not. I no longer see this research when Google search for it, but I did read it a few decades ago. the justification and rationale was, the injured soldier will cause their buddies to come to their aide. In a war, this actually has more efficacy towards winning. War is by nature not the kindest act in human features.
Israel is only maximizing the use case for weapons that was designed and handed to them.

Another horrifying Isr*eli war crime. This time a drone killed a P*lestinian child. When civilians attempted to help, Isr*el bombed them. All. Isr*el's holocaust in Gaza will be the most documented crime in human history.
**If you're a z10, defend their actions in any way, or do business with them, block me***
I want nothing to do with you, your business or your contacts. I don't want to pretend to be nice, I'm tired of pretending that this past year hasn't been hell.
At some point, your humanity is in question. At some point, you can't keep quiet. At some point, your depression and guilt take control. At some point you can't get the image out of your head of a 6-year-old angel being stuck in a van with the decomposing bodies of her family members, bleeding out only to then get executed by MACHINE GUN FIRE by a coward t-ist in a tank.
That being said, I can't stay quiet anymore: f*ck my career, f*ck my relationships and f*ck you if you're still defending this.
Bombing a group of people trying to help a shredded child...a child whose legs were BLOWN AWAY.
Defending a murderous T-ist government that has killed 20 000+ CHILDREN and their MOTHERS. How many of my contacts have kids? Just for 30 seconds, picture yourselves picking up pieces of your kids in plastic bags. Imagine having to write your kids names ON THEIR ARMS AND LEGS to help identify their SHREDDED BODY PARTS.
How is this still ok? What is wrong in your minds that makes you think "yeah, that's fine. I can still defend this"?
I can't expect a 3rd party country to get involved, but at least shut up. At least try to save your souls and dignity. At least try to be on the right side of history.
