Award-Winning Health Systems Change Leader 🏥 Global Researcher 🌍 Systems Engineer EngD 💢Strategic Advisor 💥 Mentor for health systems change leaders ✨ Design & implementation expert for health systems change ⚕️
The “Project of Me” never ends. My mentorship program Co-Lab 2024 for healthcare professionals may have come to a close, but what I know for sure is that for the participants the Project of Me is in full flight and will not end anytime soon! It’s rare for health professionals to create a change leadership journey focusing on ourselves - especially when we’ve spent our careers helping others, improving health systems and working hard to meet our organisational performance goals🤔 But what this group of participants discovered over the 8 weeks of Co-Lab is that you can make an impact in healthcare in a way that serves your organisation, the people you most want to help and also serves YOU🤯 That includes your wellbeing, your personal goals and your career aspirations. 👉 And you might find - scratch that, you WILL find - that giving energy to your personal leadership and life gives you even more energy and opportunities for impact!🙌 It’s been so inspiring to see how the amazing Co-Lab 2024 cohort harnessed the tools, the mindset shifts and the supportive container of like-minded successful health professionals to pivot to their next level of greatness! How thrilling to see the healthcare entrepreneurs in the group Boitumelo Mudumela, Joceline Mobinzo, Ingrid Kleynhans Wagner shift from only working IN their business to working ON their business and building new powerful support networks to support them💃🕺 Equally exciting to see the accomplished leaders within their organizations Angela Alfonso, Winnet Chinogwenya Dr Shalini Ahuja, PhD Loandi Le Roux seize the opportunity to take more bold steps forward in their work with grace and renewed energy!💪 And bravo to the 2023 Co-Lab alumni that chose to join the sessions and revitalise their change leadership journey through the lens of “The Project of Me”. Maletje Griesel Nirasha Singh Gaynor Grace Cahlia Naested I can’t wait to feature some of their stories in posts in the months ahead!✍️ Are you ready to make an impact in health systems change in a way that serves YOU, your organisation and the people you most want to help? Put your name on the Waitlist for Co-Lab 2025 (see link in the comments👇) and look out for some new offerings and support I will be launching soon! #healthcare #healthprofessionals #healthcarechangeleadership

Healthcare Activist | Advocate for Transformative Change | Academic Enthusiast | Social Justice Advocate | Rise Mzansi Public Representative candidate
In reflecting on the challenges faced by our healthcare organizations—whether hospitals, clinics, or provincial health departments—I’ve come to believe that one critical element is missing: #entrepreneurialskills. For decades, #leadership in healthcare has focused heavily on clinical and administrative expertise, but we've largely overlooked the value of entrepreneurship in driving innovation and sustainable success. Shouldn't we be thinking about healthcare leadership not only in terms of traditional management but also through the lens of entrepreneurial mindset? What would it mean for #healthcare leaders to approach problems with the creativity, innovation, and risk-taking abilities that #entrepreneurs thrive on? It would be interesting to hear your views on how incorporating entrepreneurial skills into the leadership mix could help us reimagine our #systems for improved efficiency, patient outcomes, and service delivery. Could this be the missing link to overcoming some of the persistent challenges we face today?
