Where do they go? Do you know? Egg cartons like these - made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper, making them acceptable for the recycling bin or the compost bin. Toss them in the recycling bin and they will be made into another carton. Leave no sticky trace behind: remember to wrap up chewing gum before tossing it into the residual waste bin. Gums do not belong in the bio waste and definitely not on the street. The base of conventional chewing gum is a blend of synthetic rubbers. That means it belongs to the residual waste bin. Due to its stickiness, it can contaminate the waste around it, so it should always be wrapped in a small piece of paper before being thrown out. We think #recycling is very important. Sometimes, it’s hard to decide where your waste should go, which action is the best, and where to recycle specific things.
