Attention consultants and personal services business (PSB) owners! The second phase of our pilot started in 2023 with the goal of helping PSBs understand their tax obligations better. Take a look at our findings for the first phase to see what we’ve learned so far: https://ow.ly/r1YF50SW7PN [Image description: Three people are in an aisle in a warehouse. What would help PSB the most is changing the tax deadlines so they have more time to get their documents in order, when it isn't their busiest season. And only having to pay their taxes once they know how much they have to pay.

2moThe management at Canada Revenue Agency is a joke and undermining Canadians ability to manage their tax affairs. I just called the CRA this morning to deal with a client matter. The CRA is not taking calls and not providing call back feature due to high demand . It seems that everything under this liberal government is being mismanaged. The utter lack of leadership and accountability are resulting in increased anxiety because of unresolved tax matters. The CRA has 55,000 employees. The IRS has 77,000 employees but 10x the population. How is it possible that in the last year the CRA is suddenly so inundated that Canadians never get timely service. 2 years to to process voluntary disclosures and notices of objection. Months and months to process T1 adjustments and other simple requests. if you are lucky enough to get an agent to answer the phone, they are never trained to address even the most basic of requests. Inaccessibility, and incompetence define government management Liberal Party of Canada • Parti Libéral du Canada , Marie-Claude Bibeau , Justin Trudeau,
