Sportopia has landed at Selfridges!! With the Euros, Wimbledon and the Olympics happening within a 12 week period, 2024 truly has had a summer of sport. As the creative playground in the retail category, Selfridges are far from sitting on the sidelines of all the action and have transformed their stores across UK into a Sportopia. As well as branding across the store and partnerships with iconic sportswear brands, Selfridges have also built climbing walls at their London and Birmingham sites that are open to the public. 🪡 Crafty Thread To make the Selfridges experience (and their exclusive climbing wall) famous this summer, we identified key comms behaviours of both sports and luxury brands that Selfridges already stocks that we could then adopt. We were able to select key flyposting sites that reach a Selfridges audience that love sports, style and the climbing wall! We supercharged this with an exclusive partnership with the Evening Standard to gain authority with our Selfridges Sports audience that included editorial content and a full front page takeover with an illustrated cover created by Christian Adams.
