Innovative Sports Leader

Good afternoon Allen, Thanks for sharing the golf challenge I set up last year on the Streakers app for me and my golf partners in advance of one of our rounds at the Vespra Hills Golf Club here in Barrie, Ontario. Needless to say I have shot better rounds! // Fast forward to May of this year when we demonstrated the utility of the Streakers Gaming Inc. app for sports teams -- not only during the regular season but also how they can utilize the app to keep their fans engaged during the off-season. In this short video, we showed how golf lessons, with Cameron Smith on the LIV Golf network, can be gamified. Imagine if you are running a golf league or golf tournament at your local country club and in addition to uploading banners, posters and promotional videos, your organizers can also upload props onto the Streakers app. For example, for each hole, for each player, the front nine, the back nine, the tournament as a whole and even the number of times a gopher shows up on the course (think CaddyShack circa 1980)! Maybe your golf pro decides to use the app to make beginner golf lessons more engaging and fun? Of course, we can always ask Maayan Gordon to provide her suggestions on how best to combine golf with other cultural events in your community! // I wonder if such gamification is how David Deas, and his compatriots at the Leith Links in Edinburgh, envisioned the game of golf to evolve back in 1744 when the Honorable Company of Edinburgh Golfers wrote down the first rules of the game, known as the Thirteen Articles Source: https://lnkd.in/gBfWDkhC /// #sports #gaming #gamification #entertainment #golf #sportsindustry #engagement #culture #community #fans #attention #awareness

Wow, Craig! The crossroads of sports and tech are fascinating! Integrating cultural events sounds superb too.
