🚨 Less than 48 hours until the end of Q2 🚨 It’s one of four key points in the year where you get to reflect on your progress towards goals, make adjustments to reach these and recognise your achievements. We always set five key goals that we aim to achieve each quarter per person. I’m on track to reach four of mine and at risk for the other. Some might look at the lack of achieving all five as “falling behind” but if you constantly hit all five are you making them big enough? For me, I’ll be finishing the quarter feeling positive and looking ahead at what worked well and what I’ve learnt. How are you tracking for Q2? "The process was a big reason I accepted. I didn't think they were going to be able to make an offer in time, but they got me through in a week and a half. AND their offer came on the same day as a company I thought forgot about me. So I went with the company, that I felt, wanted me." My thoughts: 1. People accepting new roles = my favorite posts. 2. Search, interview, decision stories are so important to inform both sides of the table. 3. GOOD on the winning company re: process - it was and can often be the deciding factor. The hiring process is a strong predictive index. 4. Not so good for the other who lost out on a great candidate. Nothing makes people go goldfish more than not feeling wanted. At some point the power is going to shift back to candidates. Companies who lead their hiring processes with clarity, respect and efficiency won't feel the difference. #interviewprocess #candidateexperience

Reflecting on Charlie Munger’s three fundamental rules for career satisfaction has offered profound insights: 1. Don’t sell anything you wouldn’t buy yourself. 2. Don’t work for anyone you don’t respect and admire. 3. Work only with people you enjoy. Two of these principles emphasize the importance of “people” – those you work for and those you work with. Once you have faith in your company’s products and services, the defining factor becomes the people around you.

It is a valuable tool for preparing career advancements, securing a recruitment, and preparing for coaching (HARRISON is an excellent mediator when it comes to creating consensus during the launch tripartite meetings between HR, manager, and future coachee).
