FOOD AND HEALTHCARE SAFETY ON THE RIGHT TRAK!! Are paper logs and clipboards still part of your safety compliance program? Let ConcernTrak bring you into the 21st Century!
IF YOU'RE RICH THEY (YOU) THINK YOU REALLY KNOW...THE ILLUSION OF EXPERTISE IN FOOD SAFETY – A LESSON FROM CONSTRUCTION Tevye’s words from "Fiddler on the Roof" couldn’t ring truer in today’s food manufacturing world. This image of the DIY safety remedy to the construction site I highlighted in a previous post draws parallels to what I see happening in food safety: Companies with great financial success who believe they can solve their problems in-house, without calling in the experts. They only learn when it's too late... The result? A band-aid approach, much like what’s happening in this picture—where instead of bringing in professionals to ensure the work is done right, a DIY approach leads to temporary fixes at best, or dangerous oversights at worst. The same mentality is pervasive in the food industry. I’ve encountered so many successful companies who believe that if they can make a profit, they must know everything!! Instead of investing in comprehensive food safety solutions, they cobble together their own fixes, thinking financial success equates to expertise. But as we’ve seen with food recalls, contaminated products, and massive outbreaks—sometimes it’s not about knowing it all. It’s about knowing when to bring in the experts. Let’s remember: Success in one area doesn’t guarantee expertise in another. Food safety is one of those fields where cutting corners can cost money, reputation and most of all...Lives! #FoodSafety #FoodManufacturing #RiskManagement #FoodIndustry #ConstructionLessons #SafetyFirst #RecallPrevention #ExpertAdvice #FiddlerOnTheRoof #IfIWereARichMan #IndustryInsights #ProtectConsumers #PreventionIsBetterThanCure

6moBack in the day we chipped up floor brick in food/drink facilities. I was careful but always wondered how other guys didn’t carelessly get debris in food vats for a massive recall like machinery parts get into food. Here in residential I flip bowls etc upside down.
