Today as part of #16DaysOfActivism2023 we are drawing attention to the correlation of substance use and violence against women and girls. A study shockingly showed that 2 in 3 (66%) women who use drugs reported interpersonal violence in their life time, which is significantly higher than the already shocking rate for women overall (around 25%). Without further support and options for women who use drugs, we are failing to tackle the associated abuse these women suffer. Action needed now #NoExcuse
