Audiopedia At the November meeting of NGO CSW/NY on the topic Empowering Women in a Digital World: Navigating the Technological Frontier, we were introduced to a tool designed especially for women in rural areas, and specifically in the southern Hemisphere, where illiteracy unfortunately still runs rampant. https://lnkd.in/d2xdH5-Q The pages can be called up in thirty languages and there the user will find articles - more on some pages than on others depending on their availability in open source - with knowledge useful to women's lives. The way I understand it, a woman searching for information on a practical topic like breastfeeding can find articles on the subject (it would seem that some reading is necessary to get to the QR codes to hear the article printed on the page). It does require a smartphone or some kind of receiver as well as internet access to access the information. Felicitas Heyne is the Co-Founder and Director of Audiopedia Foundation since 2016. Through Audiopedia, Felicitas is on a mission to translate knowledge into power for women across the globe.

Honored to be invited for a TV segment about "Show Her the Money" on FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV). We talked about how ~70% of women feel confident managing their household budget, but only ~20% feel confident about selecting investments that align with their goals, according to a 2021 Fidelity Investments report. Women entrepreneurs should launch businesses that solve a NEED for customers with the support of Stella Foundation FREE community of education & resources and GET FUNDED by more women investors. How? small amounts on Wefunder, equity crowdfunding platform, or investing in Funds like Emmeline Ventures (featured in the film) or with San Diego Angel Conference at smaller unit prices. This increases CONFIDENCE and opens up more access to capital for underestimated founders. We need to change the investment narrative and support NEW investors to IMPACT the world through investing in GREAT innovations. PT clinics are often at the mercy of patient compliance, both in their willingness to come to the clinic and continue recommended therapy extensions at home. Technology is fast becoming a critical component to improving compliance, especially if the technology is engaging and easy to implement while providing trackable metrics. The latter often gamifies elements of the process, and for those of us who've been through the rigor of rehabbing significant injuries, we know the benefits of providing mental stimuli to enhance the experience. Skillcourt hits the high note on all these and when you consider the opportunity to use existing CPT codes to position Skillcourt as a revenue generator, it's about as close to a no brainer as I can think.
