Pragmatic filmmaker creating video content with results in mind.

If you want to create a video and have limited resources (time/money) There is one thing you should focus on. Put most of your resources into the visuals of the opening scene.  It applies to cool visual effects, your best footage, past-paced montages, controversial moments, etc. It is your hook to wow and interest people enough to keep watching. Remember, you compete with others' content for audience attention. BONUS: If your opening sentence resonates with the person or can solve their problem, you get their attention. Don't forget to deliver on that. Do you even pay attention to the first seconds of your video?

Greg, The first few seconds are like the trailer to a blockbuster - it's gotta hook you in! 🍿 I've noticed that if a video doesn't grab me right away, I'm out.
