🚨 A lot of people forget how associations impact our lives and goals. Think of it as rotten fruit thrown in with fresh ripe fruit. Eventually, the mold is going to penetrate every piece around it. It’s okay to have an occasional interaction, but don’t subject yourself to go down the path to nowhere JUST to be connected to them. As for me, SIT ME AT THE TABLE WITH THE WINNERS AND GO GETTERS. #StayCoachable #Focus

I've got a bit of a cold at the moment, so I'm sleeping with the window open for some fresh air at night. The upside of this, is that I get to experience the dawn chorus every morning. Out of the dark, the silence and solitude of the night, a few voices start. Tentative at first, then becoming more confident and louder. Its usually the blackbirds that I hear first outside of my window, and they have a beautiful song (often confused with nightingales). Slowly and surely, they are joined by other different types of birds - more and more voices adding to the symphony. And then as the sun starts to tickle the horizon, and the day breaks, a crescendo of sound fills the air. At this point, the different voices from all the different birds are indestinguishable from one another. But that is kind of the point. What starts as a few individual voices, builds into a community effort, and has the most amazing, inspiring impact on the new day. (Apart from the crows, who wake up a bit later and do their own thing). Its the same with #SystemsChange It might start with a few individual efforts, but we don't get actual change until we build enough momentum to reach a critical mass, to break into a new dawn. I kind of feel we are on this path with #FoodSystems transformation - it is still pretty dark, and there is still a lot of division in the food sector. Many people agree on what it is we are aiming for, but disagree on how to get there. When you fixate on this, it slows things down. But if you listen really closely, you can hear more and more voices striving for the same thing, together. Listening to each other, adding to the symphony we are building together. Momentum is building. I'm not sure how long it will take us to reach a #RegenerativeFoodSystem but in the meantime, I am going to keep singing, and supporting #unity in our #community at every point possible 🌄 🎵 ❤️ #reflection #transformation #food #regenerative

In times of overwhelming events, remember that your size does not equal your impact. It's normal to feel helpless in the face of global events, we all feel at a loss about what we can do to help. It’s important to remember that we are all connected. What you do today can have a huge impact elsewhere in the world. So don't hesitate to take action - you never know what difference you might make.
