To stay ahead of the curve and ensure a positive employer reputation, measuring your organization's Employer Branding Index (EBI) is crucial. EBI is a tool that quantitatively measures an organization's attractiveness to current employees, job seekers & ex-employees. By evaluating various parameters and assigning them weights, EBI helps organizations understand their position in the market and identify areas for improvement. Here are the steps to determine your EBI: 👉 Define the parameters to measure, such as employee satisfaction, brand reputation, employee engagement, talent attraction, retention rates, and D&I. 👉 Gather data from various sources, including employee surveys, exit interviews, performance data, online reviews, social media mentions, and feedback from candidates during recruitment. 👉 Analyze the data to identify trends and patterns, and areas for improvement. 👉 Benchmark your organization's scores with industry benchmarks or other companies in your sector to understand your position in the market. 👉 Assign weights to the parameters based on their importance to your organization. 👉 Calculate the EBI by multiplying the score of each parameter by its assigned weight and summing them up. 👉 Interpret the index score and its components to gain insights into your employer branding and develop strategies for improvement.
