The end of each year provides us with time to reflect on our team’s performance and contribution to a well-done year full of successes, challenges, and contribution to our organizations. Time past fast and in some of our industries, measuring performance on a monthly or quarterly basis, my help us forget or missed those ones that have done amazing around us. That is why it is worth performing a self-reflection to ensure all your boxes are covered on recognition: -         Did you recognizing those that have impacted your overall organization performance? -         Did you recognizing those behaviors that will support your organization mission and vision? -         Did you thank those that helped with the successes of your organization? -         Did you start meetings and conference calls recognizing successes and achievement from your team? -         Did you thank your team for their contribution on specific goals, task, or challenges? I believe there is no limits to recognize and thank our people when they are doing an amazing job. I will fail if I put a quota on recognition when people deserved it. Each one of your employees expect acknowledgement of their hard work. Achieving goals could be a team effort, but recognition become valuable when it is done individually. Work can be an absolute nightmare, and saying we’re in love with our job every single day would just be a lie! Fortunately, my team has always been very good at celebrating successes internally, and today is no exception to that as I celebrate my work anniversary at Unicity International. I am usually not the type of person to take risks or to take on challenges that I don't know if I'll succeed or not. I always want to know I'll come out as the winner before I enter any endeavor. But for Unicity, I took the leap even when the firm seemed out of my expertise. To my surprise, they saw the potential in me to lead and train the team. Throughout my stay in the company, I received continuous challenges that pushed me to expand and build my business acumen and conflict management skills. But the aspect that my team influenced me the most, is my overall vision of a better working environment. In that vision, I was able to share and help propagate this purpose of nurturing team members by training and enabling them to be their absolute best. I believe that the guidance, praise, and feedback that I have received from colleagues, seniors, and clients were all equally integral in building my exceptional Unicity experience, and I hope they all know how grateful I am that they put their trust and faith in me. For me, working in the corporate world, or in any kind of industry, is never a sprint, race, or game of who never stumbled or failed. You are your own world and your narrative is uniquely yours. So continue to persist no matter what. No matter how cosmic or intimidating an opportunity is, take that step! You'll never know how capable and ready you really are if you don't try. Remember, trying is only half the game, so take courage and leap forward! Exciting times ahead! And I can only look forward to improving from my previous best. Thank you, Unicity. 💙

I’m sure the sentiment of having to do more with less resonates with colleagues throughout HE, so my thought for today is: When you can’t do a lot do what you can. As someone heading up a team in an organisation as complex as Universities are you sometimes can’t give positive answers to the questions you’re being asked. But what you can do is make time to review the way you and your teams are doing things to see if there are any changes you can implement to make tasks and processes a little more bearable. You can make time to listen to the team even if you don’t have the answers they are searching for. And most importantly you can always find time to say thank you. Not just to your team but making sure colleagues outside of the team who are supporting them receive thanks for what they do. Because we’re all in the same big HE boat together.

One of the things I previously took for granted, but am extremely grateful for in 2023: People who extend support even when there are no clear personal gains. Whether it's in terms of: 1. Introductions to thought partners, potential customers etc. 2. Giving us feedback on documentation 3. Spending time explaining how their orgs work (something that is often underestimated but so critical when selling to larger companies) 4. Giving purely objective advice from a fresh perspective Coming from places like Stripe and McKinsey, it was easy to take this as a given. But I've now come to appreciate how unique this is -- the true test of a culture and mindset of collaboration is when this extends externally, beyond the organization itself. The thoughtfulness of being biased towards the long term and the big picture, the willingness to take the initiative to offer help that isn't necessarily asked for. Acme Technology is a lean team and we definitely would not have gotten to where we are within this year, without all of you. Lots more to do and hurdles to cross, and knowing that we have a strong support system outside of the team definitely helps. Thank you! In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to share how grateful I am for my team 🫶🏼 Looking back at our 2023 events season, I get emotional thinking about how much we grew together. Here are 3 lessons our associates taught me: 1. Build others up. Our associates took every opportunity to hype each other up. They made sure everyone felt included and had each other's backs. Their positivity was contagious and made the long work days more enjoyable. 2. Play to strengths. Each associate is extremely talented. As they shared their skills and knowledge, they helped us improve processes and enhance the overall participant experience. 3. Be open minded. We had a lot of associates with a lot of great ideas. They were considerate of different perspectives and adapted our processes to fit the participants' needs. I am so grateful for each of them and all they taught me!

In my opinion ♦️ High Grit ♦️ Growth Mindset ♦️ Inclination towards delivering more than expected. These 3 things are a Killer Combo and take you to places! Reflecting on the past year when I got a ping from Aayush Bahuguna Lalit Aggarwal on joining Clazar as a First Hire in Talent. I felt I might be too junior to take up this responsibility but there was one thing which I knew, Clazar needs people heavy on execution!! AND I knew I can be good at it :) After spending 8000+ minutes on multiple conversations with an amazing team here. My learnings that could help you as well : ✅ Never Hesitate to ask for help! You cannot be master of everything. ✅ Be Humble and make sure to leave every conversation with a positive note. ✅ Under Commit , Over Perform ✅ Take High Ownership. It's fine to not know things, but its worse to not even giving an attempt ✅ This one comes from our CEO Trunal B. - No one in the world is short on Bandwidth. Its always about having a solution oriented mindset and getting things closed by removing the blockers. To my amazing team at Clazar : thank you 🙏 ❤️ . Get to know Soujit Ghosh, Practice Director, who recently joined us! Soujit, we are so thrilled to be working with you. What is your favorite part of your job? "Delivery and pre-sales is my favorite part however, there are other things, too. Always focus on positives instead of negative. I myself push harder with each project until it reaches success. I enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems as well as the sense of accomplishment that comes with finding a solution. I love the flexibility that comes with my work. I love that I can work from anywhere, especially when I travel." What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? "I am enjoying listening to songs and watching movies, reading books and mostly like to travel." What do you think are your best assets/strengths in your role? "I think my greatest assets/strength is my leadership quality; I am open-minded, detail-oriented, curious to know anything or learn anything with flexibility and I help motivate our teams."
