Friday Aha: The Refuge of Community: "We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to." In moments of loss and uncertainty, it’s often our communities that become our refuge. This week, I was reminded of the extraordinary power of belonging—the way connection and support can wrap around us like a warm embrace, offering solace and strength when we need it most. Reflecting on this, I came across a quote by Brené Brown that resonates deeply: "We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to." Belonging to a community—whether it’s family, friends, colleagues, or a shared mission—creates a safe space where we can be vulnerable, process our grief, and find renewed purpose. It is in these connections that we discover the courage to move forward, empowered by the collective strength of others. This aligns deeply with my vision: "The power of belonging, connection, and support is accessible to those who want and need to make a mark on the world, through coaching, guidance, and expertise that leads them through a series of unlocks to greater empowerment, success, and impact". Community is more than a refuge—it’s a launchpad. It’s where we find the encouragement to turn our pain into purpose, our fear into action, and our dreams into reality.
