Most organizations love to boast, "Our company culture is great," but what is actually company culture? Company culture is often a blurred line between the perks and genuinely feeling good about what you are doing. What it is not? Having BOOZE after office hours with office peers. Playing table tennis during BREAK TIME. Feeling privileged that you GOT PERMISSION to work from home. Getting appreciated because you WORKED MORE than your employer does. Real company culture isn’t about the superficial perks or permission slips its more about how do you feeling going to office every morning. The day you stop getting that motivation to go to office, then the office culture is not a fit for you. What people associate culture is with 'How cool my boss is" But you need to stop equating your office culture with your boss's mood that day. Office culture in defined in a equation below: Processes + Vision + People in a synchronised repetition to the way towards profitability = A great office culture that Fosters growth, Thinks about you first Helps you with necessary aids to perform the best out there. So next time someone tells you " Join us because our company culture in great" , try to apply the equation above. (PS you are allowed to ask the head of your soon to be workplace; where do they see the organization in the next 2 years) #companyculture #bestplacetowork is #workonyourself

Taking a glance from my desk, it's clear how a beautiful view can uplift my spirits and enhance my productivity. Creating workplaces for startups and small businesses that reflect company culture and spark a thriving vibe 🚀 I interior designer & founder of Urban Kiwi
A while ago, I had a conversation with the former Lead People and Culture Specialist from Zageno. We discussed the challenges of coworking spaces and the difficulties of working without a physical office. One point she made about the options HR provides for their employees stood out: ➡️ "𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺, 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘦𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮." ⬅️ This mindset is also crucial when it comes to office presence policies. Making it mandatory to come to the office is one of the biggest mistakes companies can make. People don’t like being forced into something, especially if they don’t see the value or have no reason to be there. So, instead of forcing employees to come back to the office, rather: ✅ 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬: Share the value of seeing their colleagues and spending time in the office—not just for the company, but for them as individuals. ✅ 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤: If employees are hesitant to return, ask what they’re missing in the office and make an effort to provide what they need. ✅ 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞: Does your office setup truly add value? Does everyone have a space to focus? Is the working environment better than what they have at home? Are there good opportunities for socializing and team bonding? 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! 🏆

Ever heard of an office where parties and productivity coexist? Working at the office has its perks, and it's not just the coffee machine (though that’s pretty great too!) From casual networking events to spontaneous office parties and even the occasional binging game, the office environment here goes beyond work. It's a space where connections are made, ideas are shared, and sometimes, we just have fun! It’s one of those things that reminds you, that the workplace can be more than just a place to get tasks done. It’s where growth happens, both professionally and personally. P.S: Does your office have the same thing? #officevibes #officeculture #casualnetwworking #worklifebalance #workplaceperks #dexomedia

20 reasons why people DON’T want to go to the office. Following on from yesterday’s post exploring why people do want to go to the office, this post explores all the reasons why sometimes we’d rather be anywhere else. A few of my faves: - The loss of flexibility and autonomy before, during and after the working day. - Poor coordination of working schedules between teams/projects leaving diaries full of teams calls which can be done from home. - Control over temperature, air flow, light, noise, smells, etc. Any niche reasons (without tagging in people you’d rather avoid, obvs… let’s have some decorum!) you’d like to add to the list? #Workplace #Culture

Good morning, everyone! Wishing you all a productive day ahead! I've been pondering this morning about the significance of our work environment and how greatly it influences our productivity. However, it seems that more often than not, we find ourselves adjusting to the space we work in rather than shaping the space to better suit our needs. It's interesting to consider this dynamic – how we tend to adapt ourselves to our working environment rather than proactively modifying the environment to better serve us. This highlights the importance of taking initiative in designing our workspaces to maximize productivity and comfort. Simple adjustments, such as organizing our desks, optimizing lighting, or adding personal touches, can significantly improve our work environment. Additionally, employers can contribute by creating workspaces that foster collaboration, creativity, and employee well-being. Understanding the impact of our surroundings on productivity is crucial in creating spaces that support our goals and enhance our overall work experience. Here's to a day filled with fruitful endeavors for all of us! #remotework #office #productivity #collaboration #creativity
