Why Care Homes Should Consider Employing Overseas Nurse Assistants Care homes face the ongoing challenge of maintaining high-quality care amidst a shortage of registered nurses. Employing nurse assistants, particularly those recruited from overseas, presents a multifaceted solution that benefits both care homes and their residents. With the current shortage of registered nurses, nurse assistants play a crucial role in filling critical staffing gaps. Their presence helps maintain a consistent level of care even during periods of nurse shortages, ensuring that residents’ well-being is never compromised. Nurse assistants bring a wealth of practical knowledge and hands-on skills as the majority recruited from overseas are registered nurses in their home country. Under the guidance of registered nurses, they can significantly enhance patient care. Their training equips them to perform a variety of essential tasks such as monitoring vital signs, carrying out dressings, writing care plans and risk assessments and leading the care team. Employing nurse assistants supports the development of a future nursing workforce by providing them with practical experience in a healthcare setting. Experienced nurses can mentor nurse assistants, supporting them for future roles as registered nurses once they have gained the further qualifications necessary to register with the NMC. Employing nurse assistants is a cost-effective way to manage staffing budgets while still maintaining high standards of care. Nurse assistants help reduce the workload of registered nurses, allowing them to focus on more complex clinical tasks and decision-making. A team-based approach, with nurse assistants supporting registered nurses, promotes a collaborative and efficient care environment. At Big World Recruitment & Consultancy, we are committed to supporting your recruitment of overseas nurse assistants. We pride ourselves on being an ethical and supportive recruiter, ensuring that all our candidates are well-prepared and ready to contribute positively to your care home. Why Using Recruiters is the Best Option for Your Corporation In today's fast-paced business environment, attracting and retaining top talent is more challenging than ever. Corporations need to fill positions quickly with candidates who not only possess the right skills but also fit seamlessly into the company culture. This is where professional recruiters come into play. Here are several compelling reasons why using recruiters is the best option for your corporation: **1. Access to a Wider Talent Pool** Recruiters have extensive networks and access to a broader talent pool than most in-house HR teams. They maintain databases of qualified candidates, including those who may not be actively seeking new opportunities but are open to the right offer. This access allows recruiters to find the best candidates, even those who are not visible through traditional job postings. **2. Expertise and Industry Knowledge** Professional recruiters specialize in specific industries and roles, giving them deep insights into the job market. They understand the nuances of various positions and can identify the key skills and attributes needed for success. This expertise enables them to match candidates more accurately to your company's needs, ensuring a better fit and higher retention rates. **3. Time and Cost Efficiency** The recruitment process can be time-consuming and costly, involving multiple stages of screening, interviewing, and negotiating. Recruiters streamline this process by handling the initial stages of candidate sourcing and screening, presenting only the most qualified candidates for final interviews. This saves your company valuable time and resources, allowing your HR team to focus on other strategic initiatives. **4. Improved Candidate Quality** Recruiters are skilled at identifying high-quality candidates who meet both the technical and cultural requirements of your organization. They conduct thorough interviews, reference checks, and skill assessments to ensure that candidates are not only qualified but also a good cultural fit. This rigorous vetting process results in higher quality hires and reduces the risk of turnover. **5. Confidentiality and Discretion** When filling high-level or sensitive positions, confidentiality is crucial. Recruit

THE SCHOOL NURSE I have come across interesting questions surrounding my line of work. Who is a school nurse? What is her/his role? Are they only employed to provide first aid? Is it a career for a young Nurse aspiriring for more? Well I am here to address these questions in detail. Firstly, a School Nurse in simple term, would be a professional who is there to make sure that every student has access to mental and physical health services thoughout the day(https://lnkd.in/d398ant9) The purpose of a school nurse is to plan,Implement, coordinate and evaluate school health services that maximize quality of in-class time by reducing the incidence of health related absenteeism. A school nurse’s goal is to promote health by eliminating health problems that would impair learning to achieve the highest degree of independent functioning possible such as injuries and other minor ailments. The school nurse has to work with teachers as well as parents/guardians to create individual care plans including medication management when needed. Responsibilities of a School Nurse 1. Developing health plans for students needing medical attention during school hours 2. Updating student medical history to promote safety from possible spread of communicable diseases 3. Educating students and staff on healthy habits such as proper nutrition and hygiene 4. Write referrals for pediatricians and other health specialists when major problems have been detected 5. Ensuring compliance with national and local health laws 6. Detecting early problems in early stages through regular screening eg. hearing, visual screening 7. Keeping track of student vaccination records 8. Administration of medication School Nursing has a wide range of activities attached to it and its a fulfilling job. I believe that as a health promoter I carry a big responsibility ensuring health safety in a nation through an educational setting. It is in this setting that we grow to learn the importance of caring for a child’s welbeing more each day. We start small to change the world and yes i would 10/10 recommend exploring this career interest to any young aspiring Child nurse specialist. Worth it!
